Exploring the Waters of Tolantongo
We will meet at the "Angel de Independencia" between early morning to escape the city chaos. Our group will have private comfortable transportation. We will stop for an early breakfast in Actopan, a city halfway to our destination.
The day is divided into three parts.
Pool Tranquility: Start your day relaxing a while in the “pocitos”; naturally warm thermal pools that provide astounding views that soothe & clear the body and mind –perfect for “the gram.”
River Relaxation: Next, the turquoise-colored river is well-managed and is naturally warm due to the thermal springs, a complete relaxing experience. Lunch will be alongside the river (weather permitting).
Cave Exploration: Finally, you will see awe-inspiring waterfalls and unexpected adventure that our guests have described as “life changing.”
We will head out by 5:30PM arriving between 9-10:00PM, full of new experiences and photos to share with envious family/friends.
Injuries, while rare, may occur during an outdoor exploration. This experience includes water, creating slippery walking surfaces near the pools and river. There is a bonus cave (optional) with low clearance –be aware of height to reduce risk of head injury. There is inherent risk with any outdoor activity. Then we’ll drive for 50 min to our GRANDMA's house where our family will be waiting for us with the most tasty CAFE DE OLLA, HOT CHOCOLATE, MEXICAN TEA/FRUIT & PAN DE DULCE
With the bellies full, we’ll go to the pyramids (10min ride) where we would love to explain you everything we studied (BA) & learned about the Ancient Civilizations who built Teotihuacan (we’ll bring IPads to show visuals so it helps us to understand how beautiful was in its prime)
At 12pm (after burning some calories) we’ll go back to our grandma’s house where we will share the TWO TREASURES we have in our family THE RED AND THE GREEN MOLE The red mole recipe it’s been for 3 generations in my family and it has 52 ingredients & for the green it’s my mom's creation so you’ll try the Teacher and the Student!! BTW THIS MOLE IS FRIENDLY IF YOU’RE VEGAN/VEGETARIAN and if you have allergies we can accommodate tasty options
For dessert we will have an amazing PULQUE TASTING!! where you’ll get to try 4 kinds of pulque (including distilled versions) that we proudly produce in our FAMILY

Recorre el ÚNICO RÍO VIVO que aún existe en la Ciudad de México, muchos de sus habitantes no lo conocen. Se trata del Río Magdalena ubicado al sur de la ciudad en el Parque los Dinamos.
Será un recorrido por el paisaje reconfortante del bosque de coníferas, no creerás que existe esto en la ciudad, sal del ajetreo y ruido de la ciudad y ten un momento de aventura, paz, tranquilidad y mucha naturaleza.
El río está ubicado a menos de una hora del centro de la ciudad. Iniciaremos caminata a un costado del río, lo cruzaremos varias veces, veremos pequeñas cascadas, caminaremos entre árboles, arbustos, plantas, flores y piedras, al tiempo que descansaremos, nos relajaremos y apreciaremos la naturaleza del lugar, realizaremos un circuito, caminaremos por un sendero distinto todo el tiempo.
Durante el camino realizaremos búsqueda de tesoros escondidos "Geocaching".

Make tacos al pastor with a chef
During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. We'll meet at the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "Comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy.

Frida Kahlo Coyoacan Museum and Xochimilco Premium
We will start our tour at 9 am, this we do to take advantage of the day, remember that the tour includes transportation both to and from your accommodation.
Once aboard, we will head to the amazing place of Xochimilco, here we will sail through its rivers and while that happens around us we will have a mariachi show.
After that we will move to Coyoacán we will start our visit by touring its streets, believe me that it is a magical place that I am sure you will be fascinated, we will have times to tour the Coyoacan market, something that makes this place incredible is that throughout the tour you can take the best photos.
We will go to a cafe called Jarocho, here you can taste a churro plus a cup of chocolate and coffee.
Finally we will stop by to visit Frida Khalo's blue house, we will wait while you make your tour to after that give you time that you can go to lunch, here I'm sure I'll give you some recommendations, once finished we'll leave you at the point we picked you up, it's an incredible experience.

We'll meet at the meeting point and then take the public transport to visit the neighborhood of la Merced. At La Merced we'll walk through the aisles and had a traditional Mexican breakfast (Quesadillas with or without cheese, Tlacoyos or Gorditas) after you'll have the opportunity to try different types of mole, Mexican fruits, vegetables and the best tacos in the city.
Also we'll venture into the aisles dedicated to medicinal plants, magical items, and various other items that demonstrate the syncretism of beliefs and practices that exist in México.
For the end, we'll take public transport and visit San Juan Market, which specializes in gourmet and exotic foods. Here at our place at he market we'll taste grasshoppers and Mezcal.

We’ll start they day by meeting us in the heart of La Condesa (Parque México at 7:30am)
Then we’ll drive for 50 min to our GRANDMA's house where our family will be waiting for us with the most tasty CAFE DE OLLA, HOT CHOCOLATE, MEXICAN TEA/FRUIT & PAN DE DULCE
With the bellies full, we’ll go to the pyramids (10min ride) where we would love to explain you everything we studied (BA) & learned about the Ancient Civilizations who built Teotihuacan (we’ll bring IPads to show visuals so it helps us to understand how beautiful was in its prime)
At 12pm (after burning some calories) we’ll go back to our grandma’s house where we will share the TWO TREASURES we have in our family THE RED AND THE GREEN MOLE The red mole recipe it’s been for 3 generations in my family and it has 52 ingredients & for the green it’s my mom's creation so you’ll try the Teacher and the Student!! BTW THIS MOLE IS FRIENDLY IF YOU’RE VEGAN/VEGETARIAN and if you have allergies we can accommodate tasty options
For dessert we will have an amazing PULQUE TASTING!! where you’ll get to try 4 kinds of pulque (including distilled versions) that we proudly produce in our FAMILY
Finally we’ll go back to CDMX arriving between 3-3:30pm
