Note: the 3rd bedroom is petite and is accessed via the patio only (i.e. no internal access). Therefore, it may not be suitable for young children who need to be close to their carer(s). Edwardian cottage with original baltic pine floorboards, lots of brass knobs and knockers, and lead-light windows featured in the living area. If you like period detail and appreciate classic design with modern comfort and convenience, then you'll love this beautiful, light and warm space. The living areas are north facing so they're flooded with uplifting natural sunshine. The two main bedrooms with queen-sized beds are quiet and spacious with air-conditioning and heating units. The third bedroom also has an aircon / heating unit but is much smaller, cosy, and compact. It has a beautiful view directly on to the courtyard. Please note that the third bedroom is only accessible by going outside. This means if you want to go to the bathroom, you'll have to go outside into the courtyard, then into the main house. It has a single bed with another single bed underneath which can be rolled out. There isn't much room to walk around when both single beds are out, although it's very easy to roll the under-bed in and out. Outside, there is a private courtyard which is a harmonious zone with lush vegetation and a gazillion flowers through the autumn (the camelias are stunning in full bloom). Sun bake, read a book, and relax in a chilled-out garden. TRAINS: (South Yarra train station and Prahran train station within 10 minutes walk. -Catch a train into the city centre within 10 minutes TRAMS: (Or 'Street-Cars' as the Americans say). Catch the 72 tram from Commercial Road (the tram stop is 5 minutes walk away). The 72 tram takes approximately 20 minutes to Melbourne's city centre.) WALKING: Albert Park Lake, Fawkner park and the botanical gardens are within walking distance and offer some of the best recreational facilities and beautiful flora in Melbourne, if not the world. Note, the Clothes-Drying Line is located on a retractable reel on the back brick-wall (look up from underneath the two trees and it's located next to the tree on the left). Pull the 2 lines out and walk across the courtyard and find two hooks, located near the top left hand corner of the external window frame for the 2nd bedroom.
