The cottage is situated in the grounds of our country home in a quiet rural location offering easy access to both Bere forest and the Meon Trail (disused railway line), both are perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying the scenery and wildlife.. The picturesque market town of Wickham has a beautiful church, the Mill is now a bustling antique centre and there are many independent shops and restaurants. We are also ideally suited to exploring the historic cities of Winchester and Portsmouth.

On the edge of the South Downs National Park near the historic Forest of Bere with lovely rural grounds overlooking the Rookesbury estate. It's a comfortable modern and very spacious apartment. Easy access to Fareham and the M27 With it's own entrance keeping the apartment separate from the main house, there is a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, huge living area and screened bedroom. A quiet, separate area of a modern private house, decorated and furnished to a very high standard on a quiet lane. The Retreat offers two large double bedrooms with two King sized beds, (one of which can be adapted to two single beds), a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a separate WC & shower room. We have a couple of outdoor areas that we would be happy for you to enjoy. As this is a shared area with our family and dog, we respectfully ask that this is an arrangement for adults only.
