Exquisite Cottage in Beautiful Kent Countryside

This delightful cottage has been lovingly refurbished and now offers a luxurious, but cosy and comfortable space for a perfect weekend getaway. The cottage is located in the garden of our house, but is completely separate and private. We are on hand if you need us, but will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay unless you tell us otherwise. The cottage is a light, bright space, with bifold doors leading on to a private terrace equipped with garden table and chairs and a gas BBQ. Inside, the space has been beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table/work space, comfortable sofa, smart TV with DVD player, free WiFi, etc. A number of DVDs are available for you to borrow as well as a number of guide books/walking books relating to the local area. The bedroom has a luxurious kingsize bed with sumptuous bedlinen - perfect for a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a powerful shower - towels, etc are provided for your stay. Guests have full access to the entire cottage. There is off-street parking available directly in front of the cottage and a small fenced terrace at the rear with garden table and chairs. Tucked behind our family home, the cottage is set in the heart of our pretty village surrounded by miles of beautiful Kent countryside in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - lots of lovely walks on our doorstep. The village shop is two doors away and our friendly local pub a 5-minute walk down the street. Sevenoaks and Tonbridge are a 15-minute drive with direct trains into London (30-minutes) and the spa town of Tunbridge Wells is just a 25-minute drive. A car is essential. Local buses do run to Tonbridge and Sevenoaks but provide a very limited service. Taxis are available, but may need to be pre booked at busy times. Obviously walking is a great way to pass the time whilst staying in this beautiful part of the world. The cottage is located in our garden, close to the main house, but is completely private. A fenced terrace is available for guests' private use. You may see us pottering around the garden during the warmer months, but we respect our guests' privacy and will not disturb you whilst you sit outside.

Our place is a short drive to the train station for the fast train to London (35 mins to London Bridge) & is a 10 minute drive to Tonbridge, 15 minutes to Tunbridge Wells & 15/20 minutes to Sevenoaks.
