Welcome to the Shawnee and "Corinth"! The structure in which you will be staying was formerly a two room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a residence. The school's name was Corinth, hence the name of this establishment. Accessed by a private outside entrance with a deck, the space consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a hallway, a full bath and a beverage/ closet nook. The deck is a great place to sit and relax while watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, chickens, and ducks!

The Historic Rose Hotel is a living breathing part of American History. A stark reminder of a time that once was, when the river was the heart of the country and the towns along it were our cities. The parlor came first and was ran by James McFarland as a tavern. By the time Sarah Rose obtained it the building had gained its addition rooms. The beauty along this river has been enjoyed for over 200 years from the walls of the Rose Hotel and we will continue to do just that.
