Church Of 8 Wheels

Why locals recommend it

A defunct church that’s had all its seating removed, this is a big, beautiful space that becomes a roller-skating rink Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure to look up and admire the ceiling. Party lights and upbeat music make for a mighty fine time. Skilled skaters get into formation for group dancing. You can rent skates on the spot.

Former church turned into a 80s-like skating ring. Enough said.

This indoor skating rink was started by David Miles who is known as the Godfather of Skate in San Francisco. This gem has instruction, and all skates complete with disco music and lights. Bring your own skates or rent from them. Check with schedule for the right time for your group ( some all ages and some 18+). They do birthday and party rentals too
