A travel hub that has ferries that will get you to the North side of the river - Manly, Kirribilli, Mosman. The northern beaches are much quieter and have a lot more space to chill on the golden sands.
Circular Quay is the main port where ferries charter passengers to Manly, Taronga Zoo, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Watsons Bay, Neutral Bay, Mosman Bay and Cockatoo Island. It is also where the infamous Sydney Opera House resides and a short walk to the Harbour Bridge (if you're interested, to walk across or over the bridge)! It is also a great way to see Sydney from the water and also a more relaxing way to get around town.

Opera house, fun cultural activities museums and history tours of the city. Circular quay is also a beautiful spot to take in Sydney’s beautiful harbour in all its full glory. Take the 301,302,303 from out front or walk to either Central or Redfern to take a train to Circular Quay
Short walk to circular quay you can visit the Opera House and my favourite restaurant is The Bennelong but you do need to book. The Opera Bar is nice for a drink and casual dining.
