Open: Mon-Sun 10:30am-11pm Delicious Thai food in a modern design near my school. If you like coconut curry (ranges from $11.95-13.95), this is the place!

Lers Ros does a reasonably good job with thai food. I find so often thai gets too sweet for my palate. This spot manages to have a variety of flavors - spicy, sweet, savory and tangy. Upscale surroundings in ultra-hopping Hayes Valley. The service is super efficient so best to have somewhere to go after as they turn tables quickly. Also in The Mission on 16th near Guerrero.

This one's in a nicer neighborhood, but the Larkin one (while in a seedier place) is closer to Union Square. It's an authentic Thai restaurant that changed my life. My favorite dishes are Kor Moo Yang (grilled pork neck with great flavors and just the right amount of fat and chewiness) and the Tom Yum Soup with shrimp.
