The Loja (shop/store in Portuguese) on the water’s edge was a trading post. Canoas (boats) exchanged salt and tiles for farm produce. Our Place is located between Agonda and Cola Beach. It is by the river, at the foot of a hill in the jungle behind Cola beach. The beach is a 5-mins walk from our place, but the river is right next to it. you have to climb stairs. All the huts are made from wood and bamboo and have sliding glass doors. The beds have comfortable mattresses and mosquito nets. The huts have their own bathrooms and balconies. From the balcony, you can spot hundreds of colorful birds in the trees around the place.
