Off Grid caravan in quiet meadow

Picturesque setting surrounded by nature. Deer and Owls are frequent visitors . With own pond and woods just metres away. Amazing views and walks. Perfect for those seeking a night or two of solitude to escape the rat race. We are a 50 acre organic working small holding with Goats , sheep and chickens. The caravan is off grid. Cooking and heating is via Gas and lighting is via a 12volt leisure battery, this gives minimal but adequate electricity to charge a phone and lighting for the evening.

Luxury shepherds hut, en-suite shower room & wood burner, set in an orchard. We run a licensed riding school, Red Park Equestrian Centre, & have many friendly horses & ponies. A fully self contained unit, well equipped - full size fridge, icebox, two ring hob, smart tv, wifi & a cosy bed. There is outdoor space with picnic bench & a wood fired pizza oven. Be aware there can be noise from a playground. You are within walking distance of the village with wonderful pubs, eateries & takeaways.

4-berth caravan set in an off grid field.

Stay in an eco-project field, use as a base for exploring beautiful Somerset, or simply stay where you are, enjoying the peace and quiet. Please be aware that this is very cheap but comes with a need for you to be environmentally sensitive to your water use and waste disposal. You can bring dogs (as long as they are not sheep worriers) and you can light a fire in the firepit. the caravan is in its own secluded spot some distance from the hard standing, in wet weather wellies advised.

Old Parlour: Dog-lover’s peaceful/private caravan

Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!
