Comfy log cabin, Lapland wildernessOur newly built family-friendly log cabin is situated in Salla, Finnish Lapland, within the PAN Village Oulanka. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday, and want to admire the beautiful wilderness without the fear of bumping into large tourist crowds, this is the place for you! Off the beaten track, yet with easy access to all mod cons and services.
3 km from the downhill slopes, á la carte restaurant, a pub, casual lunch spot and a spa at Sallatunturi. Ski track run just across the road.

100km from the nearest airport at Kuusamo. The easiest way to arrive is to fly to either Kuusamo (KAO) or Rovaniemi (RVN) and rent a car.
The cabin area is 104m2 (1120 sq ft) and contains 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds each (sleeps 6). The spacious open living and dining area combined with a beautiful fireplace. The cabin is equipped with two large bathrooms, two toilets and own sauna.
Amenities for families travelling with an infant/toddler (baby crib, high chair, baby bath and a potty). Furthermore, you have an own washing machine and tumble dryer plus an airing cupboard to dry your wet gear. Amenities include a HD quality flat screen television and free high speed wireless internet which is perfect for remote work, too. The spacious open-plan kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances.
There are lots of activities on offer nearby such as husky safaris, reindeer sleigh tours, snowshoe walking, downhill and cross country skiing during winter and fantastic hiking options during summer seasons. White-water rafting, climbing, canoe trips and fishing are other summer time activities for which the nearby environment is perfect.
There is also a reindeer park in the neighbor where you can feed the reindeer around the year. Salla is a perfect spot to witness the Northern Lights. Also, in August and September, the changing of the leaves sets the countryside ablaze with its gorgeous red, brown and golden colors which is therefore perhaps the best time for hiking.
