Charming cottage close to the World Heritage area

Our charming cottage in its oldfashioned style is located in Rusetbugen, close to beautiful Fjørå and Valldal. This is not far from Geiranger, UNESCO World Heritage area. The cottage has a beachline and a private dock. A small rowing boat is available, or you can bring your own. The place is perfect for fishing, mountain hiking and mountain biking. If you prefer a relaxing holiday we can highly recommend you to enjoy your meals, drink your coffee or just rest at a lovely place by the water.

The family's private cabin, nestled literally on the shore, over looking Rødven Fjord. 45 minutes from Molde or 25 minutes from Åndalsnes. It's not perfect, not luxury, a bit used and a bit 1970's and we don't care. The Hytta is really for those wanting to chill near the water, within close proximity of the mountains for toptur skiiing, hiking a rock climbing. New hard mattresses, and new log fire and kitchen refit makes this the perfect retreat.

Timber's seat. Idyllic cabin on the water's edge

The main cabin was set up just before the war, and has a lot of history in the timber walls. Fire in the fireplace and lit lanterns create a good atmosphere. The sleeping quarters are basically out in the water. It's easy to fall asleep to the sound of clunking water, and in the morning you can jump right into the water.
