On a quiet street, just a five-minute taxi ride to town center and set in a walled garden, this little 16-square-meter house has all you'll need as a base for exploring Valladolid and Yucatan or, if you'd rather, for just lazing in a hammock with cold drinks. My property is on the southeast edge of town in a country setting. It's a walk to center - 8 or 9 long blocks - but taxis are 35 pesos per group, 40 pesos if you call for pick-up at the door. The streets are quite safe to walk at night.
