Our summer vacations at our home in the village of Olympoi, had always felt for us and our guests like “living in postcard”. It is a beautiful two-storey stone house in one of the medieval villages of the Municipality of Mastichochoria in Chios, with internal streets and perimeter fortification that served to repel pirate raids. Its architecture is quite unique combining high-ceilinged rooms with arches and stone walls with soft and organic angles.
