The ground floor house is located in the middle of the wine mountains of Obernhof in the Natural Park of Nassau. Right on the hiking trail to the viewpoint "Goethepunkt" and the "via ferrata". 300 meters away from the station and the canoe rental. Above the house is a vegetable garden with a sun terrace.

Built in 2021, the house/home that still gets its finishing touches. It is located in the Gelbachtal and is surrounded by beautiful nature. There are many trails and a lot to discover. In the village there is a wine house that is highly recommended. It is not very far to the Lahn (1 km), so also within walking distance. There is also the connection with public transport, but was not really used by me. The train is 1.6 km away on foot and over mountain or 3 km around the mountain.

"Bat Cave" vacation room in the beautiful Gelbachtal

Our children have now flown out and we do not only want to share the beautiful home with the bats. We live in the romantic Gelbach Valley between Westerwald and Taunus. Hikers and cyclists have meanwhile discovered the great location of the place. Our peaceful Gelbach flows very close to the Lahn. Not far away are the towns of Nassau and Bad Ems. Our place is located on wonderful hiking and biking trails (Lahnhöhenweg, Lahnwanderweg, LahnWeinSteig in the village...).
