Log cabin Hömötintti

A log cabin built in 1996 on Kontiolahti Pöllönvaara. There is a steep path (60 m long) that leads to the shore of the clear water Likolampi. There is a sauna completed in 2024 along the path. The cottage has a fireplace and a wood stove. There is no electricity or tap in the cabin. In addition to natural light, candles are illuminated. There's a cabin and kitchen downstairs, as well as a sleeping chamber. There are more beds in the spacious loft. The outdoor kitchen in the yard has a gas stove. There is also a firepit and benches outside. There is a rowing boat on the shore of Likolampi.

Traditional log cabin by a peaceful lake

Relax and enjoy some peace of mind! A two-story traditional log cabin on the lakefront. In the cabin, there is a well-equipped indoor kitchen and a separate extra kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer cabinet. Downstairs bedroom has a double bed and upstairs bedrooms have beds for four guests. In connection with the cottage there is also a wooden sauna and a pier, a rowing boat and a canoe. A gas barbeque, electric smoker, and bricklayer in the yard. Separate also available for rent, stand up paddle board and a boat with an electric motor.

Peaceful location at the end of the road. Good berry and hunting landscapes, as well as excellent water transportation. Large terrace with glass overlooking walls and agood lake view. A quick switch from a closed space to an open room. In the cabin, there's a room with a fold-out sofa bed, a kitchenette, a fireplace, a small loft with two separate mattresses,and an air pump. Sauna and washing facilities at your own entrance. Separate sleeping barn and toilet.Gas and wooden barbecues.Rowing boat and large dock.

Lakefront log cottage, peaceful location w/ sauna

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. Good 4G connection!
