In the area, there are several beaches, barbecue areas and nice forest trails. In winter, there are ski tracks on the lake and an ice vacuum for winter swimming . An idyllic spot only about 10 minutes drive from Umeå.

The cottage is located at a bay in the northern part of the High Coast, well suited for day trips to a large number of attractions found in the nearby area. Sandy beach, jetty and boat access make it possible to enjoy the holiday. On the ground floor of the house there is a sofa bed, as well as a loft with room for 4-5 people, but not full ceiling height. Internet access is available in the cottage, so you can check mail and communicate without any problems, but the reception can be uneven, so it can be hard to watch movies.
