Live in the heart of Rome in a charming with terrace Apartment in Monti Colosseum

Relax on the private terrace and watch the sun set over Rome's rooftops. Stroll to the nearby Colosseum and Forum before enjoying an evening drink in this old world building with modern style and comforts from oak flooring to a sleek four-poster bed. The apartment entirely renovated in 2014 is located next to the entrance of the church of Santa Prassede (one of the oldest churches in the city) in a small and quiet one-way cobblestones street of the center. The interior of the house has been carefully planned to the smallest details. The materials used, such as the old oak flooring are of high quality. The penthouse is inside an ancient building, on the 3th floor without lift. It consists of a charming bedroom with a four-poster bed, a spacious bathroom with a large shower and an open space of 50 square meters with full-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room area with two sofas that can be converted in a single bed and in a double bed. There is a big led TV on the wall connected by satellite to SKY broadcasting more than 100 channels (news, culture, movies) in different languages. The dining table is for six people. The air-conditioning (top brand Daikin ) has two units, in the bedroom and in the living room. The apartment has a small terrace (10 x1,20 meters) overlooking the typical Roman rooftops and the famous tower in Piazza San Martino ai Monti. All the apartment is for the guests I’m always available for my guests by phone, text or on Airbnb The property is located in the center of Rome, in Monti district, next to the magnificent church of Santa Prassede, one of the oldest in Rome and within walking distance from Coliseum and Forum. The imposing Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, chosen by Pope Francis as its reference as well as the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli that houses Michelangelo's famous Moses are very close by. The Monti area in recent years has become the beating heart of the city, the melting pot of the capital, it is common to hear English, French, mixed with “romanaccio” (Roman dialect). It is in fact the neighborhood, beloved by both tourists and Romans, because it perfectly combines the beauty of its quaint cobblestone streets and picturesque buildings, with traditional bars, trendy, numerous restaurants of all kinds, shopping and entertainment. Another peculiarity that makes the Monti district unique is that you can go from a small quiet street (like the one in which the property is located) to animate squares full of people where the atmosphere is always vibrant and lively. The area also offers a wide range of shops: from trendy boutiques to creative shops, from grocery stores to art galleries. In the heart of the neighborhood, in Via Urbana and Via del Boschetto, you can find almost anything - an original gift, vintage clothing, decoration items for the home, shoemakers, bakers and prestigious mosaic workshops. Even the surrounding streets offer a bit 'of everything from knick-knacks to organic markets. For classic shopping, Via Nazionale provides Italian and international brands and is only 1 km away from the apartment. Most of the touristic attractions are at walking distance. Coliseum and Roman Forum: 7-minute walk. Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Fontana di Trevi: 15- minute walk. Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, Campo de 'Fiori and Pantheon: 20-minute walk Main Train and Bus Station: Central Termini Station (500 m) Metro Line A: Vittorio Emenuele (400m) Line B Cavour (400m) Taxi: Piazza Santa Maria maggiore (50m)> Going up the stairs to the apartment, a window opens on the Basilica of Santa Prassede...unique!
