The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. We offer a simple but equipped 44 sqm accommodation for uncomplicated guests in our former newly converted stable. Our farm is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. We do farming with cows, chickens, horses and cats. Our garden invites you to linger and in the rain there is a covered seating area. A sofa bed is available for a child, a travel cot can also be accommodated. Welcome!

Lovely gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire the heating fireplace, cozy warmth is safe! In summer, a mass camp in the stable is also available, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast per person at an extra cost of CHF 13.-, we are also happy to cook you. The meat comes from our animals.

Apartment small but nice

Our house is on the outskirts of the village center. A big old birch is the landmark in our garden. The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in Biedermeier style and has been little changed in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation. With this in mind, we welcome guests from near and far.
