Beautiful Villa in Shela, Lamu

This beautiful and spacious villa is away from the hustle and bustle of Shela, in the peaceful sand dunes behind the village. The beach/village are a 10 min walk away down a sandy lane. There are 5 stylish bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (sleeping 10 guests), 3 kitchens with indoor/ outdoor living and relaxation spaces, a huge roof terrace perfect for star gazing as well as a plunge pool to cool down. Our lovely staff keep the house immaculate & will handle your laundry. There's fast wifi too!

Khayrat Apartment, located in the heart of bustling Shela village is the perfect stay for your Lamu vacation. Our top floor apartment is made up of two floors, the bottom one consisting of two ensuite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and two balconies. As comfortable as this floor is, our rooftop is the place to be! You'll have a 360 view of the village, the ocean and the sand dunes behind Shela, including amazing sunsets and sunrises. Located 100 m from the Indian ocean, the house consists of 4 en suite rooms amongst which 2 master bedrooms and 2 standard berooms. Please note that we limit the number of guests to a maximum of 6 in order to preserve the house, avoid stressing our staff and maximise your experience as a guest. Each room is self contained and has a queen size bed. Two of the master bedrooms have their own private outside verandah. The house is let with a Cook who does also all the shopping and a House boy.

Tucked away at the foot of one of Shela's majestic dunes you find this eco friendly cottage. Walk to the beach or Shela village in 10 minutes. Build mainly with wood and earth but with every comfort of a modern house. Wonderful housekeeper and caretaker on site. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and come and unwind!
