Most of the area has changed to a modern beach community. It is a self standing structure. A mini house so to speak. Within the cottage you'll find a brand new queen size bed, built-in cabinets, desk, fully equipped kitchen with brand new stove and cookware, tv with cable, wifi, bathroom with a beautiful and rare newly resealed vintage clawfoot tub with shower set up as option (tub has a higher rim & requires a big step like a jacuzzi tub), a yard where you can enjoy the evening sunsets. You will be provided with fresh towels & bed linens, a guide of the area and bungalow. Please be advised this is a historic bungalow under conservation. We do not offer air condition or central heat (plenty of fans and electric heaters are provided and the ocean breeze keeps the bungalow cool just like it did in 1917). Enjoy LA in a beach oasis- it makes coming to LA quite a different experience. This sleepy beach community has everything you could hope for. The property is just steps to the ocean and pier with a large array of restaurants, cozy coffee shops, bars. A large array of restaurants, cozy coffee shops and bars await on the boardwalk or strand, which sprawls from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica. You can enjoy surfing, swimming, volleyball, walking, running, skating, biking, hiking - or enjoy driving up to Hollywood, Malibu, Disneyland and Universal Studios. Or plan a daytrip to Santa Barbara or San Diego. The street and area offers plenty of street parking. Please observe street signs for street cleaning days and times in order to avoid a ticket. Street sweeping Thursday from 8am-12pm on one side of the street and Friday from 8am-12pm on the other. Please look for signs when parking your vehicle to avoid getting a ticket. If you do not have your own vehicle we recommend using uber or lift. Many of our guests in the past have recommended this form of transportation.

Our space is designed to provides everything that a family would need to rest and unwind during their visit to Pasadena. Both bedrooms are equipped with memory foam mattresses for a comfortable sleep, the kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you to prepare any meal imaginable, the living room has a 60in 4K flatscreen with access to Netflix and other streaming services, and the outdoor patio features string lights and outdoor seating. We are pet friendly and built the space with your furry friends in mind. The back patio is completely fenced in (8 ft fence) and there is a small area for your dogs to do their business. We also leave water bowls and welcome treats whenever you bring your dogs. Finally, the space includes free covered off-street parking for two vehicles. Your cars will be safe and secure throughout your stay. You will have access to a the bungalow, back patio, and carport throughout your stay. We live right up front and are available should you need anything during your stay. We are happy to help! This family friendly neighborhood has a beautiful park two blocks away, and a stroll around the neighborhood is rewarded with beautiful examples of craftsman design. The property is located close to Old Town Pasadena, JPL, and CAL Tech. We are around a 20 minute walk to the Gold Line which goes directly to Union Station.
