A nice double cottage on private land (not in a vacation park). The cottage is decorated with lots of vintage furniture and decoration. The cottage has a veranda overlooking sloping horse pastures. The spacious garden is fenced and has a fire pit. The Holiday House is located in Hoge Kempen National Park. The visitor center is within a walking distance! The park has 450km of hiking trails, an extensive cycling route network and mountain bikers have 200km of unpaved trails available

Woudhuisje Gellik in de Hoge Kempen

Come to our cozy Woudhuisje! In the largest nature reserve in Belgium, our cottage is located in the middle of the forest in a small holiday park. We decorated the interior with second-hand/vintage furniture. We are in the forest which is wonderful hiking and biking. The wifi range is sometimes a bit tricky. Maastricht is a 15-minute drive. Close to the Woudhuisje, there is also our Boskeetje. If the Woudhuisje is full or if you go with a larger group, we have the Boskeetje.

The name Tynil is coming from "Tiny" for the Tiny house concept and also coming from "Fenil" or "Barn" because it used to be an old barn from my grand father. Stay in the old railway cabin.

Next to Racour station is the cabin of the piochers or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this‘ barrack ’to store their materials, to eat their sandwiches or even to stay asleep. The 3-metre by 3-metre classified building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden scaffolding and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable tractor cabin for 2 persons. Free bicycles are available to our guests!
