The main house and bed (the barn that sleeps the indigo) have been demolished, but they have preserved the historic guest room and garden to be used as a farmhouse homestay. Once upon a time, "indigo" grew up in the fertile land of the lower Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing a lot of wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa clan). This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with stunning views, condiments, and a cooker.(There is no equipment for BBQ.)

In Ohinata, Sakuho-town, Nagano-pref. We built a small cottage at a mountain side of the natural woodland which separated for a while from the colony. The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
