Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seoul. It consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Built in 1939, Dongchonjae is recognized as a traditional hanok by the City of Seoul and the government (Korea Tourism Organization). Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 toilets (inside: shower available, outside: difficulty showering), Numaru and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. It is aimed at upright eating and a happy and relaxed life. We recently renovated a 20-year-old house and decorated one as a pension. We're trying our best to be a host who remembers the sadness or discomfort that we felt as a guest. In the summer, lay in the hammock and enjoy the night sky.
