Welcome to "The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite" We are situated 1 km from the National Park and 5 minutes to downtown Cheticamp. The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. You will also be delighted with fresh that morning seasonal muffins that I personally make and forage the fruit for! You also have your own private deck and entrance with a bistro table and umbrella! Melinda's mountain retreat, dog & family friendly.

Melinda moved to Cape Breton in 1974 from Tennessee. She married a local, opened a small hair salon, and raised a big garden and four children. Up until suffering a major stroke in 2021, she was an avid swimmer and cross country skier. But, most of all she loved connecting with all kinds of different people, young and old. Although severely limited from the stroke, she still enjoys meeting people and seeing family and friends.
