Our family home is situated in Gilmerton, south of the city centre with direct buses and easy access to the City Bypass. Ideally located 5 minutes from the Pentland mountains and 20 minutes by car from the airport / Waverley train station. The double bedroom is located on the ground floor with a tea and coffee station and a private en-suite bathroom. The room can be accessed via the front door or through the back garden entrance. EV charging is allowed with prior arrangement at an extra cost.

A cosy hideaway just minutes from woodland and a forest walk to the Pentland Hills. The room has a double pine bed where all my guests have been well rested and refreshed. free off road parking, and will do all I can to make you feel welcome. Located 9 miles/15km from Edinburgh, it is peaceful here. The 37 Lothian bus goes from here to the city in an hour and there are express half hour busses too. By car to the city is about 25 minutes.

Perfect starting point for exploring Edinburgh or the country side as we offer free parking with bus stop on the door step. Roslin Chapel is just a 10 min.drive away, so are the Pentland Hills with unlimited walks and hiking opportunities. We have a big garden plus a huge grass area in front of our house and happily host kids or dogs or both.
