A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Still only 20 min drive to the center of Ålesund. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, solo travelers, travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). It is possible to borrow a small 14-foot boat if desired. Electric parking bike can also be disposed of. We can also be helpful with transportation to/from airport in late afternoon/evening.
