The cabin is very nicely located in a small and quiet cabin field, with great views about 100 meters from Skarvatnet. Here you get a great starting point right outside the cabin door for great walks in the mountain area around Skarvatnet and Trollheimen. Here it is a short distance up to the snau mountain and a very varied mountain area that is great for walking, cycling, running and skiing. Oppdal city center is approx. 20 min away by car. There you find among other alpine resorts, cinema, climbing center, swimming pool, cafe and shopping center.

Located by the beautiful Gjevilvatnet in Trollheimen, perfect for mountain hikes, cross country skiing, fishing, kayaking and just relaxing. Setra is located in the middle of Gjevillvassdalen , Trollheimen and has a fantastic panoramic view. Setra is old and has been partially upgraded. Here you have a short way to beautiful hiking mountains in all directions. When it is really nice weather there is nothing better than to spend a day on the red eagle which is a beautiful beach just 3 km away from our Setra!!:D
