A private getaway close to tourist attractions in the area include monkey land, birds of eden, Africanyon, the Elephant Sanctuary, Tenikwa wildlife, Bungy Jumping. Wine farms include Bramon, Kay and Monty and Newstead wines. Just down the road is Natures Valleys famous otter trail and Salt river hike which starts from Adventurers Escape as seen in our images. There is also Pepper Mill restaurant where Nic serves delicious food and pizzas. Bread and Brew coffee shop & Natures way Farm stall.

Glamping Caravan

Our "Glamping Caravan" is a new addition to our accommodation. It has an open air bathroom, which consists of a shower, toilet and basin. There is a loos standing "braai". A small fridge for some water, coffee and tea are provided in the caravan. The caravan has a small make-up area with a hairdryer and mirror. We also have some games to keep you entertained. The caravan is part of a Backpackers but has its own parking and entrance.

Double Tented Treehouses, Fernhill Guest Farm

Accommodation comprises 6 glamping tents, and each tent has its own wooden deck with tree views of the forest on the farm. Each furnished with a king-size bed. The wood-paneled en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a spa bath and an overhead shower. Electric blankets, fans, heaters, as well as linen and towels, are provided. Each tent is equipped with a fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and its own braai area.

We are a simple, off the grid set up so do not expect luxury but rather the simple pleasures and nature in all its glory. Our property is a work in progress.
