Villa Kataja chalet in Paljakka

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. A deck with a glass railing throughout the cabin's width allows you to sense the peace of nature, both in winter and in summer. The yard has a wood storage, a fire pit, and a lot. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist Center Ukkohalla 26 km. Shop: Poland city center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

In winter, the ski track can be reached from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski trails of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. Cute, small cottage on the shore of clear-water Kalkkistenkoski. Your own peace is guaranteed and nature with its landscapes is second to none. Sauna, swim, take a hot tub, or take a canoe trip. Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. Bed linens and towels are ready at the cottage. Warmly welcome!
