Enjoy dedicated driveway parking at this stylish guest house full of charming decor, Mediterranean-inspired tiles, and exposed wood shelves. Listen to wild parrots and hummingbirds from the hammock under the fig tree and relax with sunset views of downtown from the private, fenced yard. If you are driving a car, please let us know and you can park in the driveway. We have a washer and dryer in the main house that you are more than welcome to use, just let us know! We live on the property if you need anything! The property sits in the heart of the York and Figueroa Corridor in Highland Park, LA Weekly’s Best Neighborhood. Walk to coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and popular food trucks. Griffith Park, Downtown Los Angeles, and Pasadena are 15 minutes away. Walk under a mile to the coolest corners in Highland Park or hop on a Lime/Bird scooter! Walking distance to the metro and the local bus. We have a kitty, Baby Kitty, that lives in the main house and prowls the neighborhood. If you see him on the property, say hi! He’s very friendly!

Originally a speakeasy in the 1930’s, we’ve maintained its character while at the same time converting the bar area into a convenient kitchenette and adding a new modern bathroom. The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.
