Completely renovated in 2008 from an ancient aristocratic Sicilian Villa built in 1920, Casa Pizzino is situated in the beautiful valley of Timeto, in the locality of Maisale. Set in a cool, ventilated area, Casa pizzino is at only 5 km away from the sea, 3 km from the beautiful hill town of Librizzi, 6 km from the Norman city of Patti (in front of the Aeolian Islands) and 10 km from the ancient Tindari. Casa Pizzino is ideal for a relaxing holiday with large possibility of excursions and visits to historical and archaeological sites but it is also the perfect spot to totally enjoy the vivacious Sicilian summer. The six mini-apartments, renovated maintaining the characteristics of the Sicilian tradition, overlook the ample pool and are provided with modern comforts. The "Ginestra" apartment was renovated following the traditional Sicilian style, with terracotta floors, wooden ceiling, limestone walls, and coverings made from the finest pottery produced in Patti. It is at the first floor of the villa and can accommodate 4 to 5 people. It consists of: -a spacious double bedroom with wrought iron double bed and night tables, and wooden wardrobe, chairs and chest; -a large double / triple room with wrought iron beds and night tables, and wooden chairs and chest; -two bathrooms with shower; -a kitchen/living room with hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, mini freezer, kitchenware, wooden table and chairs, sofa. From the 3 windows and one balcony of the house the view is over the pool and the valley in the background on one side, and over the surroundings mountains on the other side. The house is provided with an iron gazebo with reed roofing at complete disposal of the guests. The gazebo is the perfect place to eat your meals or to rest during summer and is provided with a lava stone table (typical of our area), wrought iron chairs and a barbecue. The house is provided with WLAN access, satellite tv, heating and air conditioning. At the groundfloor of the house there's a laundry-room provided with washing machine, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner. All these items can be used for free by the guests. IMPORTANT: It is necessary to have a car to get to the house! Casa Pizzino is a family-run business and the owners are at your complete disposal.
