Also, Visitors enjoy the patio area that enables them to sit and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, enjoy an early morning breakfast outdoors, or enjoy the tranquility of the patio, over an ice cold sundowner, at sunset, watching paragliders decend from the rump of Lion's head, the mountain, situated above the cottage. Our Co Hosts, George & Avril, who live over the road will assist you with any of your immediate needs. We have, for your convenience, a self-check-in arrangement which sets you free to arrive any time after 14h00, on the appointed check in date, Namely: On the outside wall, the front right hand gate post, there is an electronic key pad. You will need to enter 4 digets on the numeric key pad to gain access to the patio. Once on the patio you will find a key box which also requires a 4 diget code to open. The key box contains the keys to the home as well as the outside gate. We will provide you with full instructions, one week prior to your arrival, by means of a welcome letter. George and Avril are your’ co-hosts during your stay, they will be on standby to assist you with anything you may need, while respecting your’ privacy. The cottage is located in quiet street in Sea Point, a Cosmopolitan suburb on the Atlantic seaboard. An easy walking distance to beaches, the public swimming pool, synagogue and a promenade where you can walk, jog, sight see, ride bikes, or sit and enjoy a breakfast or coffee at nearby restaurants. Explore the Outdoors, hop on a bus to the City, visit Table Mountain or the popular Waterfront. The great way to get around is an inter-city bus service, called MYCiti. They have regular and affordable bus service to the down town city, and the very popular Cape Town Water Front and Cable Way to Table Mountain. You will need a MYCiti swipe card. There are two cards in the Cottage but if more are required they can be purchased at the local SPAR in Sea Point. The cards will need to be pre-loaded with a fare from your credit or debit card. see (URL HIDDEN) Uber Taxis are also an affordable and popular way to get around. Down load the Uber App on your Smart Phone and they will come to the door. There is no off street parking, guests are advised to not leave valuables visible in their vehicles whilst parked in Duncan Rd.
