Cabin in Butler
Red Fox Ridge Cabin Retreat
Unwind at this secluded idyllic retreat nestled quietly at the end of a wooded country road, along a rolling creek. This 170-year-old cabin was originally two cabins erected in the 1850s. In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins (taking care to label each log) and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm in Pendleton County. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox sometimes spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. Lots of history to be shared and made! Come stay a while.
