NEW FOR SUMMER 2020 Barn End is a lovely recently refurbished family property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and parking for 2 cars. Located on a quiet lane between Barngates and Skelwith Bridge, this cottage provides ample space for a large family or group to spread out and enjoy the view from the cottage or the back garden. Recently fully refurbished to a high standard, the cottage has 3 good sized bedrooms; 1 double ensuite, another double, and 1 twin with zip and link options, a large open plan living dining area with views from all sides - a utility / drying room, and plenty of storage for bikes and equipment. The garden at the back of the house is approx 12m x 7m and fully enclosed and with a terraced seating area close to the house. You can walk up to the Drunken Duck from the cottage, although you will need a torch for your way home. In the the other direction, you can walk to Skelwith Bridge and enjoy the walk up into Langdale via Elterwater, or just stay at Chesters for lunch or afternoon tea. Plenty to do in the area, and a great base to explore our beautiful region. We accept weekly bookings with a Friday check-in / check-out.
