Our house is situated approx 1 mile from pretty village of Taynuilt and 12 miles from Oban. There are regular trains and buses to Oban. There are four shops and a tearoom in Taynuilt and the hotel has recently been refurbished and serves good quality food all day. We are situated on a Sustrans cycle route 6 miles from village of Kilchrenan. We have adopted an advanced cleaning programme as per Air bnb guidelines. The Shepherds Bothy

The Shepherds Bothy sits on a quiet farm track, a few minutes walk from our Coffee Shop on the estate. Previously used as a house for the estate Shepherd over 100 years ago, later on it was used as the Gas works for the Castle. When electricity was installed the Castle, the cottage was left to nature and became a store for old baths and cookers!
