Mattas in Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri), as well as a farm shop with the farm's and some other Åland products. During July and the first half of August, we open a café during the day.

Picturesque cottage with the sea as your only neighbor!

Want a simple moment without modern amenities, like running water? Here, life is quiet and close to nature. Fire in the wood sauna, warm up by that fireplace and let the days go. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Maybe the best view of the plot can be found in the outhouse located just behind the cabin. Down by the sea there is a protected jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg by your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

House on wonderful lakefront Kastelholm, Åland

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Play golf at Åland Golf Club which has been named Finland's best golf course. In this gem you live out in the Åland countryside surrounded by the wing of history and good restaurants. 10 minutes walk away is the castle Kastelholm, the open-air museum Jan Karlsgården and the popular restaurants Smakbyn and Åland distillery. Åland golf club is 5 min away by car or at 10 min rowing distance from the house. Boat with oars included.

Åland,Healthy charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage ( Fridhem), which was originally a baker's cottage, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 50s, when it was also converted to the current house. The cottage is located at country road 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, approx. 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths outside the knot, beautiful forest roads as well. Check out my guide for tips.

Sauna House is a small cottage in the forest in Hamnsundet archipelago idyll 150 meters from the beach in a “simple living” style. The cottage has no lake view but here you live in a cottage in the middle of traditional red painted houses, boathouses, beach stalls and all-mature wooden boats with Fishing and the guest harbor's outdoor cafe as your closest neighbor.
