The cabin was new in February 2017. It is modern, functional and has a panorama view, a perfect basecamp for a variety of hikes and trips in addition to relaxing around the cabin. The area offers great possibilities for fishing trout in the mountain lakes and salmon in the Bjerkreimselva, listed as one of the best salmon rivers in Norway! Try also the Kodlom lake just outside the door! In the winter season, Stavtjørn is well known for its excellent cross country and alpine skiing terrain.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærkusten. We have spent the winter of 2021 renovating the old cottage that has been standing here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy themselves here at Brekkekanten as well as we do. Great family apartment on the first floor with stunning views of Lysefjord. You can't get any closer to the fjord. The apartment has a double terrace door facing the fjord. You get a feeling of being "at sea" when you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with the option of shutting down two extra beds if there are many of you sharing the apartment. The other bedroom has a family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
