The cabin is a bit secluded in a cozy cabin field. 300m from the cabin is Bjennvann which has a beach with a floating dock. There is a lot of marked hiking trails just outside the cabin door. In addition, the children's walking path is just near by. The cabin is surrounded by woods and there are lots of blueberries and wild raspberries right outside the door. Also mulch if one is lucky. 40 minutes from Lyngdal, 1 hour 10 minutes to Kristiansand
