A lovely modern studio apt with a seperate entry surrounded by beautiful gardens located near Lough Ree on the River Shannon 8km from Athlone. The location is 5 minutes walk to Glasson village with it's award winning pubs and restaurants including Grogan's and The Villiger as well as The Wineport Lodge. Dates left in sept: 6, 7, 8th and 12, 13, 14th We live in a in a spacious 3-bed apartment and offer a private double bedroom with amazing views and its own en suite bathroom. Just walk out the second door from the bedroom to a balcony with views directly over the river and marina and table and chairs to soak it up. Wake up to the activity of the River Shannon with cruisers, Viking Mike, rowing, and fishing going up and downriver each day. Walk to town. See the sights.

Situated on a quiet, remote site but within 4 miles of the nearest town, Ballymahon, and 12 miles from Athlone. The house has a modern feel to it having been constructed just over 10 years ago with plenty of space and most mod cons. Privacy is restricted to guest's own room as my wife and I, along with our young family, are the only permanent occupants and will be using all of the facilities as well. Guests can choose a configuration of 1 double bed or 1/2 single beds.
