The cottage is located in the top village of Thalkirch in the Safiental, surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop. In the area there are wild forests, a beautiful mountain lake, and a large stream just below the house. You can make fantastic hikes in summer as well as in winter. It is a popular place for ski tours in winter and there is also a great toboggan run nearby. And in the same valley, in Tenna, there is even a solar-powered ski lift.

...the last 5 km to Vals, those are my favourites. From the small white chapel in the narrow gap. Because it's not far anymore. I look forward to it every time!
