Access to Karekare will be via the Lone Kauri Rd, from Oct 9th 2023 to Feb 2024, which will add about 15 min to the trip. Our place and Karekare are fine and safe to visit. The beach and walks are still beautiful and lifeguards will be on duty over the weekends and school holidays. Just a little more remote than usual. We look forward to having you stay.
