Upper Level of Historic Carriage House

Check out https://airbnb.com/h/lower-carriage-house if this listing is booked. Add logs to a roaring fire in a majestic stone fireplace. Make meals in a stylish kitchen and dine at a rustic table. Wander out to the veranda and lie in a hammock among the trees. Watch the goats play or listen to the birds and read your favorite book. With 10 acres and a gazebo in our large private park just a short walk to the Watauga River, you'll have plenty to do. We are a quick 7-mile drive to App State football games or concerts. In the winter ski or tube any of the four resorts an easy 10-14 miles away. Located in historic Valle Crucis (between Boone and Banner Elk), this residence is the entire upper floor of our recently renovated Carriage House. Access to the floor is via a private staircase at the front of the building. The staircase can be locked at the bottom or the top. The lower residence of The Carriage House is also available on AirBnB (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/28276506) as a separate rental. We have installed extensive sound proofing between the floors but you still might occasionally hear a little noise. To help ensure a positive experience for the guests in the lower residence, we ask that you leave your shoes at the top of top of the stairs. Our family lives in the historic farm house nearby and is available as needed. Most of the furniture in the residence is original to the property or the area. At 1,200 sq ft this two bedroom, one bathroom features two queen beds and one queen sized sofa bed. It has a fully stocked kitchen including Keurig coffee machine, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and kitchen basics for six. The private outdoor deck is shielded from the rain and snow; however, provides a tranquil atmosphere ideal for reading a favorite book or enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. Relax in the hammock and listen to the birds or watch the fireflies in the forest. Or feel free to borrow a couple of our inflatable tubes and float the Watauga River. Additionally, the residence has a 70 inch flat screen television in the main living area. With the attached AppleTV, you can access your movie or music libraries via your Netflix, Amazon, or other related account. Keep in mind that internet is spotty in the mountains and our cell phone coverage is poor. You will have access to the entire Shull's Farm, including river front access to the Watauga River... just a short 5 min walk away. Explore the granite cliffs overlooking the river and valley or enjoy tranquil walks through the pine and spruce forest. The chicken house is a favorite... just follow the path behind the white house. Occasionally the chickens free range. At the chicken house you'll also meet our Great Pyrenees working dog, Bella. She is learning to guard the chickens but will soon be promoted goat guarder. We can easily accommodate two cars in the driveway. We live on the property and are available as quickly as you need us. We'd also love to tell you about the area, give dining recommendations, or things only locals know. However, if you prefer solitude, we provide keyless entry to the unit... just message us if you need us. We are 10 acre working farm, with approximately 400 yards of Watauga River access. Access is a 5-10 minute walk from the Carriage House and includes a gazebo near the water. The fishing is great! Located in Valle Crucis, near Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock, the Carriage House was used for horses on a farmstead 100 years ago. Nearby Valle Crucis Park is a wonderful way to spend a family day outside. The Orignial Mast General Store is 1-mile away and the Blue Ridge Parkway is an easy drive. Our property does NOT require four-wheel drive or chains in winter. We have easy access in all seasons. Located in Valle Crucis, near Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock, the Carriage House was used for horses on a farmstead 100 years ago. There are several ponds (including one pond you can fish) on the farm and when we are not in a dry spell, a small waterfall. Feel free to gather some wood and roast s'mores or hotdogs over the fire pit. I’m happy to meet you when you arrive to answer any questions. If you prefer your privacy that is fine too. You may reach me by text or email. Even though the farm is an easy drive from downtown Nashville, this agricultural community feels like its from a quieter, more relaxing time. Fish in one of the ponds, pick berries, and head out for long, peaceful hikes in almost any direction. Uber is available from the farm. We are on the North side of Nashville. It takes less time (about 30 minutes) to drive to downtown than it does driving a few blocks in some more congested areas of Nashville. You may encounter other folks who live and work on the farm. Feel free to ask questions about our farm mission to help feed the hungry. The apartment is completely yours so if you want privacy that is totally available as well.

Bright, Beautiful Apartment in Excellent Uptown Location

Open the yellow front door and enter an apartment that fuses traditional architecture with a modern Parisian vibe. Wake up in a light-filled bedroom and step through the floor-to-ceiling window to the gorgeous wraparound balcony. This adorable one-bedroom apartment features a brand-new kitchen and bathroom with a modern Parisian vibe. Open the yellow front door and enter a living room/kitchen combination that's got everything you need to relax comfortably after a long day riding the streetcar, strolling through Audubon Park and eating poboys and crawfish at Frankie & Johnny's. (See our complete list of the best neighborhood restaurants for more info.) A beautiful wood staircase leads upstairs to a light-filled bedroom, bath and tucked-away workspace. The cheery bathroom has subway tiles on the wall and penny rounds on the floor. There's a floor-to-ceiling window that provides access to a wraparound balcony with views of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and the lovely neighborhood. Two giant oak trees in front of the house provide a leafy green canopy for most of the year. You have your own completely private apartment and your own balcony. We have a separate front door that leads to our side of the house. We will be happy to answer questions and help out whenever we're around. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with a streetcar stop nearby that gets to downtown in just 20 minutes. Spend the day walking through the Audubon Zoo and explore the historic and exciting French Quarter at night. The apartment is a half block from a St. Charles Avenue streetcar stop. There is ample street parking in front of the house. You can walk to Magazine Street, Freret Street (also lots of restaurants and bars) and Audubon Park. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling. You must also acknowledge: Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $200.

The Tree House can be used as a base camp as it is centrally located in the NC mountains ...10 Minutes to Historic Flat Rock & the Flat Rock Play House, 15 minutes to downtown Hendersonville, 15 Minutes to Dupont State Park, 20 Minutes to Brevard, 35 Minutes to Tryon Equestrian Center, 45 Minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, 45 Minutes to Asheville, & 45 minutes to Greenville, SC. Once you head up the driveway you will have parking for 3 vehicles on the parking pad. Do not park in the garage. Please use caution when pulling in and backing around deck support poles. Guests will have access to the entire property minus one owners closet with a pad lock. Available as needed by text, phone, email. I will be happy to recommend cool restaurants, breweries and area attractions. We love to hike so we can provide suggestions on hikes in the area. The cabin is set a top a plot of land along a private gravel road, yet only minutes by car from downtown Hendersonville’s dining and shopping. Pay a visit to Carl Sandburg's Home, then grab a cold one at Oklawaha Brewing Company. A vehicle is reccomended We have a Insignia Roku TV & DVD player. The TV is attached to an antenna with about 15 stations and it has apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Google Play, & Sling. Guest will have to use their account logins for the apps

This condo is well equipped with everything you need to stay for a night or a 6 month stay! You have a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities, a comfortable bed, plush bedding and towels, and a stocked bathroom with all the toiletries. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Q Tips, Cotton Balls, Hairdryer, etc is all provided. A large HE washer & dryer are provided as well as a starter pack of laundry detergent, etc. A large Smart Flat Screen TV in the livingroom. This unit is on the 2nd floor and it has a balcony from the living room that overlooks Riverfront Parkway & Parkway Pourhouse. The guests will have full access to the entire condo including the furnished washer & dryer. They will also have access to the gym , pool and clubroom in the community. We are available via phone or text or even email during your stay! If you prefer we meet you when you check in, we will happily accommodate but for the most part, we leave you be to enjoy your stay privately! Take an easy 10-minute walk to the TN Aquarium, IMAX Theater and Children's Museum. Lots of restaurants are nearby as well, with Parkway Pourhouse and Scottie's on the River directly across the street. Catch classic events at nearby Ross's Landing. This condo has 1 dedicated parking space in the lot and then free parking on the street. This area is a short walk to the heart of downtown, easy access on and off the freeway, and plenty of Uber & Lyft drivers just minutes away. Potential for noise - This is a condo located downtown. Although it is minimal, there is potential for noise from cars on the street below as well as the unit above you.
