Stonecrop is a much loved cottage and enjoys a tranquil setting with a large, attractive garden, situated in a stunning part of Northumberland. Guests are welcome to wander through our adjoining field to reach the banks of the river South Tyne. It was built in 1760 and has retained its original character whilst benefiting from all mod cons. Many guests return year after year and dogs are most welcome too. Stonecrop is within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes.

The Boat House is a newly built extension to our house with 1st floor apartment above where we keep our 1950s clinker built National 12 Sailing Boat. The apartment sleeps 2 comfortably in 2 singles. There is a king size sofa bed for 2 extra guests upon request. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Open plan living space overlooking the village green. Bedroom screened for privacy with shower room. Pets welcome dog crate & towels provided.
