The two houses were restored in 1978-79 and received in 1982 diplomas from the Association for Architectural and Landscape Culture and Europa Nostra. The two houses are still protected to this day and are mostly seen as a photo stop for tourists. The house is located right down to the water, as seen from the windows, but at the same time in the middle of the city, with life and a lot of activities. If you want to be on the beach, Kobæk beach is only 2 kilometres away.
