My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau,directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. The mountain lake Ratscher is only a few minutes away by bike. The Goethe city of Ilmenau,the state capital Erfurt or the Vestadt Coburg in adjacent Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Our guesthouse is located in the middle of our mini farm, which my husband and I run by hobby. The lock yard is idyllically located on a small river where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults/ 2 children). On request we also have a cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax.
