Hut in Sado, Japan
[1 group per day: 1 to 6 people Plan] 130-year-old traditional house on Sado Island | Dongyou
[1 pair per day: Plan for 1 to 6 people] Sado Island has a place where the atmosphere of old Japan feels like time has stopped. It is a traditional house that has been built over 130 years ago.Dongyou is a very artistic structure that has put together traditional Japanese architectural techniques. This old house has been loved and popular by many people. The sprawling garden is full of seasonal grass and flowers, and the garden view from the veranda makes a gentle sound. We believe that preserving this precious old house and communicating it to future generations is an important role in connecting to the future. Located in the heart of the island, you can shop and visit the shops in about 5 minutes by car.Access to tourist areas is also good. 2:00 pm on the day of check-in ~ 10:00 am on the next day of check-out (Please tell us the check-in and check-out time in advance) * Firearms are strictly prohibited because it is a wooden building. In principle, the use of the hearth is prohibited. However, the guest will only consult with the owner to determine if they can accommodate a request to use the hearth at least one week before arrival.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The perfect house for those looking for a bit of quiet and time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. “Asahi” was originally a “Minka,” a traditional Japanese folk house, which we remodeled a few years ago. “Asahi” is one out of three houses on our property and as we rent “Asahi” in its entirety, you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of your own privacy. The house is comfortable for two but can easily accommodate up to four guests.
