Food Scene

It's a great place to sit for coffee but also has a great vibe and amazing food. It's an eclectic space that functions as a cafe (top floor), bar/restaurant (main floor), and retail space (entry way). The Cambodian/Taiwanese fusion food is wonderful and their drink/ food menu is constantly changing. Suggest trying to get a reservation online but they usually do walk-ins as well. It's always busy!

My go-to for great tater tots (I know it sounds funny), but they have crispy tots with a great sauce (order to bucket - you won't be disappointed)!

We're in DC, so of course, you should try to get access to the White House preferably via a connection to get a personal tour.

All Smithsonian museums are free in DC, so you should definitely aim to go. Given security, I would recommend taking a minimal amount and would eat outside of the museums unless you want to pay a steep price. There are some great restaurants around the area.

Great shops around Georgetown area - scenic, yet a bit harder to get to since the metro does not stop directly here. Easy access via Uber or bus.
