For those looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere, these are my top coffee spots across Austin. Most of them also carry an arsenal of delicious breakfast tacos if you get there early enough — enjoy.
If the weather is right, Flitch Coffee is the perfect outdoor spot to grab a cup of coffee and breakfast taco with friends or just your favorite book.

Food scene

Delicious (and on the healthy side) tacos. This place is great for both breakfast, lunch and dinner tacos. It's created a quick cult following since opening up not that long ago so don't be surprised if there's a little wait getting in.

Sightseeing

If you have bike, scooter or just in the mood for a jog on the east side, I would recommend hitting the trails up via the Montopolis bridge. It's somewhat under the radar and a great spot to check out Austin's skyline.

A must if you like swimming and nature. It can get pretty busy during peak hours. If you go early when it's calm, you can literally see the turtles and salamanders hanging below as you swim laps.
