The space
This private, enchanting bungalow is ideal for nature lovers! It sits over water with an expansive vista of the mountains and Volcan Baru lying across Laguna Chiriqui. Beautiful hand tied palm thatch roof is artístic and quiet. Includes private wrap around deck, hammocks, rocking chairs, table and chairs, swing, swim ladder, salon and bathroom.
De la Luna is a private enterprise, supporting community supported organic sustainable living. Built by local Ngobe Indians using native materials with palm thatch roofs, we utilize traditional hand building methods. Uneven hand cut planks reflect the rustic, simple island style living. Winding walkways meander through our permaculture farm, with coffee, cacao, bananas, avacado, coconut, mango, guava, guanabana, pineapples, water apple, sugar cane, jackfruit, gusnabsna, guayaba, yucca, jackfruit, papaya, otoe, daishin, lime, lemon and abundant flora and fauna, in your private paradise.
The waterfront is voluntarily protected as a marine sanctuary, and hosts abundant fish and phytoplankton.
I invite you to enjoy your private holiday in harmony with the natural world around you, swim with the bioluminescents, relax, take tours and live conscious of our abundant resources. Available daily, weekly and monthly. Wifi provided. Off-grid, solar, private and safe. Jungle trails, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming available on sight.
